Level the Playing Field

We offer a variety of ways to support our students by matching our volunteers’ passions with the needs of the organization through involvement in our various programs.


We are currently seeking volunteers in the following areas:

Dorson Scholars Program

Volunteer professionals with curriculum-building expertise, a willingness to lead workshops, or those interested in mentoring a student or providing internship opportunities.

SAT Prep Program

Paid teachers, as well as volunteers to help with student tracking and follow-ups.

STEM Scholars Program

Volunteer guest speakers, as well as STEM professionals interested in mentoring a Scholar or providing internship opportunities

Cornell Summer College

Volunteers to help with student tracking and follow-ups, as well as those interested in providing mentorship and/or internship opportunities.

Student Diplomacy Corps

Volunteers to help with student tracking and follow-ups, as well as those interested in providing mentorship and/or internship opportunities.

Toys for Tots

Volunteers to help with purchasing, wrapping, organizing, and/or distributing toys, as well as marketing the event throughout the community.

Feed the Homeless

Volunteers to help with food distribution the day of.
